It was freezing in
Philadelphia that day... those smiles were frozen for at least a
couple hours. The picture on the right was originally on the
homepage, but I think perhaps the baby-on-lap image could be
confusing to people I haven't kept in touch with... no, she is not
our daughter, but she is quite stunningly cute nonetheless. |

Happy New Year everyone! I hope
you had a safe and happy holiday season. Things have been a
whirlwind since I last spoke to most of you... and to make a long
story short, I'm getting married. Her name is Myung Eun and we're
engaged to tie the knot February 22 in Korea. Friends at the
Peace Corps and our favorite coffee shop introduced us last
October, and I knew that my life had changed the moment I met
her. Our families are very happy, and Myung Eun and I couldn't be
more grateful for their support.
