Virginia Beach in November

Capturing each moment. Laughing all the way.
A midnight stroll on the boardwalk. Waking up to high tide.
The sun trying hard to break through. A moment of brilliance shortly after dawn.
Venturing out for the day. An idyllic moment.
The old Cape Henry Lighthouse. The new Cape Henry Lighthouse.
Coastline where the French fleet in 1781, lead by Count de Grasse, engaged the British fleet to prevent the delivery of reinforcements and supplies.  Also, "Here at Cape Henry first landed in America, upon 26 April 1607, those English colonists who, upon 13 May 1607, established at Jamestown, Virginia, the first permanent English settlement in America." (National Society Daughters of the American Colonists, April 26, 1935)
A dedication to the French victory. That's Count de Grasse.
It's even colder than we look.
A short detour through Williamsburg.
